Thirteen community colleges participated in the second GISS held in Bend, Oregon from June 28-30, 2016.   During the institute, colleges celebrated advances made in their student success agendas since the first institute, reviewed existing challenges, learned about strategies being executed in other states and within Oregon and began planning for taking student success policy to the next level.

GISS-Oregon 2014

Oregon Community College Association (OCCA)

In collaboration with the Oregon Community College Association (OCCA), on August 26-28, 2014, 15 community colleges participated in hands-on GISS training in Silverton, Oregon.

Subsequently in October, OCCA leadership and trustees presented a well-attended session at the 2015 Leadership Congress in San Diego, California, informing attendees of the results of their GISS experience.
